KMaps is the best Treo 650 app yet!
Thursday, August 4th, 2005This morning, a new app named KMap showed up in my mytreo.net feed.
KMap is a mobile map application which uses Google Maps as a backend.
Some features include:
* Map an address
* Save a map/location
* Call (if phone number is available for the address)
* driving directions
The greatest features is that Google does a great job of finding information from horribly inaccurate/lazy queries.
The author of KMaps, Ivan Mitrovic, says KMaps is a “work in progress” but I’d say the existing functionality is absolutely fantastic! I can’t tell you how excited I am to have this app! Great work Ivan!
