good news!
On Wed I had lunch with a coworker who’s my “resource manager”. She said my contract in Alec is up on March 31st. I should find out this week if the client is interested in extending my contract. I said I’d consider the extension if I can work 2 days a week in Alec (as initially promised to me!!!) and choose which days I’m there (like M-T).
I’m a little unsure of what I want to do. I really like the people I’m working with and I’m finally making a solid contribution, but I definitely don’t want to be up there all week and there’s no doubt I’d be “out of the loop” if I’m only there 2 days a week. I guess I’m hoping that the client finds that arrangement unacceptable and my company puts me on another assignment. There is _plenty_ of work out there these days, after all.
Anyway….I’m just happy the end is in sight. It’s been a LONG 4 months!

The only solution I see is for you to stop being such a pussy, man up, and get a construction job in downtown St. Paul. Though I imagine you’ll need to work on your catcalls / physique. One thing is for sure, we already know you look damned sexy in a hardhat.
