in Soviet Russia…

I had plans to attend a ska show last night but they fell through (since Aaron’s wife Tara wasn’t feeling well). Instead of going to the show, Staci and I decided to go to Williams. Gus and a bunch of his buddies from college drove over from St. Paul and we had fun. Williams was really full and we were there for a while but somehow I managed to finish the night with only a $12.70 tab! And Williams is in the center of the trendy/hip uptown area. I think the waitress forgot how to do math. Staci put up well with the obnoxious concordia kids and their constant oogling of every girl who walked down the stairs…it was pretty funny to watch.

I drove my sister and her friend to the airport this morning. It’s amazing how long it takes to get around here in the cities. I spent 1.5 hours driving this morning! At least the car has a good heater…it’s coooold (well, not compared to Fargo). My sis is going on a Carribbean cruise, so I’m quite jealous…though it is a single’s cruise….oh man, it still makes me laugh. In her defense, she claims she didn’t know that when she booked the tickets…not sure if I buy that excuse or not.

Today should be another good day of reading geek news, and messing with Samba. Ah….friday’s are good. :)

Yeah, I was just watching the news this morning and it does look wicked cold back in the sub-arctic region of NoDak.
What say you, Shane? I was just moaning to myself this morning cos it was like 29 degrees and _that_ felt cold. Hehehe.

muahahaha. it was 21 below this morning (air temp mind you) with wind it was something like 0 Kelvin. HOWEVER in south dakota it dropped to a miserable -36 which was the coldest in the country. Holy crap you throw a 25 mph wind at -36 and it gets dangerous. As long as I can get to work and feed the monkey though I guess I’m not too concerned. I was reading Erics blog yesterday and when he said it was a nice overcast drizzle I got insanely jealous. =) man southern oregon is looking better and better all the time.

    w00t!
